Earthex was created by Darcy Ruddy in 2018, founded in a customized, responsive service approach to earthworks and excavation.

We provide scalable service to fit the needs of your project. With only essential overhead, pricing is competitive while upholding the quality and safety commitments that Earthex establishes with every contract.

Darcy has developed his skills through over 20 years of work in construction and industrial environments. Tickets, key worksites, BC road builders certification, AOWMA and WCOWMA certification.

Born and raised in Jasper, Alberta, Darcy has regional experience along the Yellowhead corridor, with projects in Hinton and Jasper, Alberta, as well as Valemount, BC. His family has roots in the region deeper than even he can dig.

Darcy is a “start-to-finish” operator with experience in both bulk and finishing earthworks, providing project support through any stage. He has been entrusted in Jasper National Park and Mount Robson to complete vital reclamation work required to return project sites to natural and park-like settings.

    With over 40 wildfire demolitions completed safely and efficiently in 2025 alone, and many more prior to that, Earthex is ready to help you bring down the house.

    Septic Design and Installation

    Earthex is certified under AOWMA and WCOWMA-BC and has installed and upgraded many septic systems across Alberta and BC. We’ll get you set up!
